Where a good place online to order a new checkbook at? My bank does online checkbook ordering but they want like $27 for 1 box 150qty. Is there anyplace that has them cheaper?

doh, well i got it down to like $17 but it just like a plain ol design which is fine for me.

Buy in bulk and save. Usually they give you a price break when you buy 4-5+ books.

yep. i usually do it through my bank, but even they offer a discount if you buy in bulk (box of 10 or 20 or whatever)

I don't know where my checkbook is, come to think of it. I know where the unused pads are, but I want to know where the one that's in that handy fake leather thingy got to.

i got my account at compass bank in texas when they were offering free atms and checks for life 🙂

plus, i rarely write checks (thats so 20th century), so they last a long time

There's always ads in the Sunday paper for checks cheap... There's a couple of websites that the ads go to. But if you go there without a promo code from the paper (or somewhere else), the prices aren't very good. But with the codes, they're a lot better than the bank. I bought 2 boxes of duplicate checks (ie carbonless) for about $15 shipped.

http://www.checksunlimited.com/ was one.
http://www.designerchecks.com/ was another.

If you go to designerchecks.com, you'll see an intro offer ad on the right. Click it. Code is right there... I changed the # part (go down) and came up pretty quick with an offer for 2 boxes plus a "free gift" of labels for $11 plus free handling (it didn't say anything about the shipping portion) and free designer lettering.
