Ordering Birth Certificates online: legit? Anyone done it before?

Hey guys, I went to get my license(NJ) and turns out I need a copy of my BC. I've searched online and found site like this but am wondering how legit they are? Will the state accept a copy that ordered from a website, or should I actually go and get a copy at my township? Anyone had to do this before? I've seen anywhere from $25 (the site above) to $100, it seems odd that there would be such a $$ difference.

No clue, but I must have misplaced my copy somewhere and need a new one.

mine was misplaced and i had to do the same thing when i got my license. Just go get it yourself.. youll save yourself a bunch of money.

BTW.. i wasnt local and i had to order mine over the phone/fax but i still went direct. cost me $30 and that was including expedited delivery

Check the Department of Vital Statistics for the state in which you were born.

I was born in a third world country. Born at home too. So, sad to say I have no Birth Certificate. I wonder if someone can make me one that I can pass off as ligit. My recorded age is all wrong when I became a citizen of the US, but because I dont' have a birth certificate, they won't correct it for me. Suks.

/For the whiners/
We came here as Refugees so we didn't need records at the time. You really can't be expected to carry all your records when you're being chased and hunted for aiding American soldiers.
