Hello everyone, This is my second post. Thanks to everyone for helping me out last time.

anyways, here's the deal. Tomorrow I order my new PC from newegg, I will be constructing it myself. I'm going to list all the hardware I've chosen. I'm particularly worried about any compatibility issues or if anyone has suggestions on alternate hardware i'd be glad to hear them.

Chieftec Case w/ Side fan (comes with 420w psu)
Asus p4c800-e Deluxe mobo
Intel p4 2.8 800FSB
2x512 Corsair XMS TwinX 3200
GeForce FX5900 Ultra 256mb
2x120GB Seagate SATA 7200RPM
Plantronic DSP-500 and Aopen 2.1 Speakers
Logitech MX500
Viewsonic Keyboard (rebranded zippy)

Some other stuff: cables, fans, power adapters, etc.

Alright, please respond with any suggestions/recommendations.
I'm very excited about getting my new pc, but I really want it to be perfect.
Thanks for any help!

Chris

Yes i know, i have a memorex 2.4x dvd+rw that i'll put in there. also if need be i have an older teac scsi cd-r i can put in it. I debated buying a new dvdr like the pioneer a06 or that sony dru, but decided against it since i already have a 2.4x dvdr. Maybe i'll get a blue laser burner when they come down in price and are available in US?

Yeah i'm excited about the 5900 ultra 256, however i'm debating getting the ATI Radeon 9800 pro 256. I've read a million reviews on both, and it seems they're almost on par but the 5900 ultra wins out by a small margin. It's almost like it depends what game you're playing decides which performs better. Think i should cheap out at get the 9800 pro, what about getting cheaper ram such as mushkin or hyperx?

I think i'm gonna get that newegg top seller the 19" Samsung Syncmaster CRT Flast screen. It's $199 with a .20 dp, seems like a good deal to me. I'm not goint to order that tomorrow though, just the PC. I'm moving to san francisco soon so when i get there I'll get a monitor and some other things. I don't want to pay the CA sales tax on the whole 2000 dollar pc though...

i have heard corsair and any other memory that uses winbond ch5 will give you headaches with springdale / canterwood motherboards if you plan on overclocking
