Hi, first time poster here. I just ordered the following components:

Abit KT7A-Raid
AMD 1.2Ghz OEM
(2)256mb PC133 Cas2 Crucial(Micron) ram sticks - 512mb total
GlobalWin FOP38(7000rpm)
Arctic Silver II thermal compound

what do you people think i will be able to hit with this setup? 1.5ghz?
what will be the optimal FSB, multiplier, and voltage settings to try and hit 1.5?

Thank you very much.

Overclocking isn't an exact science, it's an art. It's a matter of trying for more and verifying stability. You may be able to hit 1.5GHz but it won't be as stable as if you were running 1.4GHz, but you may be able to live with that instability where someone else won't put up with it. Take the settings that other people will give you as reference only, your system may behave differently.
