Ordered new parts for my rig.... comments?

As im sure some of you know, my 1.2ghz athlon died in a blaze of glory the other night... what better time than now for a nice little upgrade...

This is what i picked up:/

1. AMD Athlon 2400+ (2ghz) CPU
2. SL-75FRN-L, nForce2 Mobo
3. 450 Watt Allied True Power PS?
4. Mini R/C Racer (Why the hell not?)

Came to $316 with overnight shipping

think she'll run well?

Yeah those mini R/C Racers run pretty good, just not too much distance on them...
 
Ugh, I've had nothing but problems with AMD motherboard chipsets. Always seems to me to have a problem running one program or another....they've pushed me to Intel for good this time I think.

BTW: Good Luck with your rig.

Dude, you got a Soltek NForce2 board... tell us how it is.. I love that company.. I wanna try one of those boards too! looks like an extremely nice rig!

She'll run well that's for sure!

im just saying that from what a few people said here

hmmmm, well i guess ill try it out and see how it is, i can always swap it out for another one. I was hearing around some other forums that the numbers/specs were pretty nice on it.

Yea, i built a rig for a coworker using Soltek's Purple Ray mobo...

It Was a BEAST.
