I just ordered my first Laptop!
It's not exactly new Dell Refurb.

Damn that's a nice laptop, practically a desktop replacement. Although the 8100's are nice, portable they are NOT I hope you realize this. Also remember Dell's return policy isn't as generous on their refurbs, I believe it's 15 days instead of 30 days.

So the second you receive the laptop make sure to fire it up, check for dead pixels (most important), and try everything out BEFORE your 15 days are up.

Thanks Rossman for those tips.
It is going in my backpack for the most part and I heard that
it is not the lightest. Seems to be the best bang for the buck
though.
You can't get rid of AOL its not an option.
I don't get why there is AOL software and 6 months of MSN
Dellnet. Not the same thing is it?

I will format and do a fresh install XP Pro more than likely.
Get rid of the crud pack that it probably comes installed with.
