i assumed no, walking around on runways that probably will be over 110 degrees on summer days

Well, the way I think of insulation is that the insulation in houses work both in winter AND in summer...

Iono though. If its that hot outside, wouldn't your feet get hot and start sweating? If you don't have insulation, won't your feet not be able to breathe and so you get stank feet at the end of the day?

I always wore the insulated ones. I never had a problem. However, I do live in IL and it never really get warm here. My Dad, (a local constable :)) has warn the non-insulated ones and swears by them in the summer. I think it depends on where you are working...

i got a uniform allowance


i had to shell out 80 out of pocket for everything.


I called the boot company and they said if its summer get non-insulated, and if winter get insulated.

go figure
