I decided on the 240 GB agility 2 for $489 Shipped.

Just one concern I had, will it still TRIM if used on the same controller (ICH10R) as my raid 0 array? Do I need to do anything special? Or should I put the SSD on a different controller?
 
You can add your SSD to ICH10R as a non member RAID drive, and providing you install the Intel RST drivers you will have TRIM on your SSD if you're running Win7.

And as for the vertex 2s, arent rebates usually 1 per customer? What about shipping and tax?
Anyways, do you have a link? I went tigerdirect btw b/c they dont charge tax, newegg does.
 
Yea, I got some OCZ RAM a long time ago and you can only do 1 rebate.

Its really nice how fast SSD prices are falling.
3 years ago it cost $1600 for a 32gb SSD that booted windows slower than a normal drive.
