Ordered my new MTB rims today. :)

Velocity VXC rims in Spangled silver.
To be laced to JuJu hubs

With black spokes and probably Blue alloy nipples. (I'll decide for sure when the rims show up.)

I probably should have bought nicer hubs, but these look to be fairly good foe the $$.

Nice to get a "Pro" deal on the rims too.

I'll post some pics when I get them built up if anyone cares!


(P.S. my old wheels will be for sale when these are done, if anyone wants a SWEET set of hand build wheels.)

The front is a Velocity Synergy (Black Powder coat) laced to a Black XT disk hub with Radial on the non disk side and 3X on the disk side with black alloy nipples (LIKE BRAND NEW! REALLY!)

The rear is a Velocity Synergy (Black anodized) laced to a VERY RARE Pulstar sealed bearing hub (Made in the USA unlike the later crappy made in Taiwan ones) with 3x and silver alloy nipples. (Not in as good shape as the front, but ridable and really not too bad) BTW yhe Pulstar hubs used straight spokes, NO bend on the end of the spokes, which made them VERY VERY strong! This is a NON disk hub too BTW.

I had a Black powder coated Synergy laced to a Chris King hub that got stolen, and when I ordered a replacement, I forgot if I needed a powder coated or a anodized rim, (I ordered the wrong one, I also forgot what color nipples were on my other wheel when I laced it up, so the nipples don't match either.)
