Ordered a P35 mobo and DDR2 pc8500 ram

Hi all, I recently ordered a P35 mobo and DDR2 pc8500 ram. Couldnt resist the price on the ram and the mobo is good. I dont plan on getting a C2D until the price drop in July but would love to test the mobo and memory when it arrives. Will a cpu from an IBM t60 fit in the mobo? If even for a minute or 2?
