Just ordered a Addtronics 7890A case - because my AOpen HX08 is not big enough anymore.....7 x 5,25" external bays is nice, and thats the reason why I didn't order a 7896A instead.
1: Pioneer DVD
2: Afreey 56X CD-ROM
3: Plextor Plexwriter 12/10/32A
4: Mitsumi CR-4804TE, oh good old mitsumi......you still work great.
5: Place for a removeable HDD (One drive with MP3, one with DVD and one with Drivers/programs/patches for games)
6: Removeable boot HDD (One drive with Win2K pro, one with WinME and one with Linux)
7: Creative Live! drive IR (included with SB Live Platinum 5.1)
And of course a FDD in the 3,5" bay.
Inside there will be (at least until my next upgrade):
Abit BE6-2 mainboard (My first and last abit board, after all my problems abit is on my worst mainboard-manufacturer list).
P3 450 @ 600MHz
512Mb PC133 INFINEON CAS2 SDRAM
20Gb HDD to share files between the different OS-HDDs
Hercules GF2 32MB AGP
SB Live! Platinum 5.1
3Com 3C905C network adapter
Dynalink TAS106H PCI ISDN adapter(made by asustek)
And a load of papst fans (low-noise fans, some 19db, but most 12db)
And I went for the best and ordered a Enermax EG651PVE 550Watt PSU - not that I need all those watts.....a 300Watt PSU should be enough....but I ordered the best and most powerfull PSU, ATX 2.03 of course.
What is others thoughts??
This costs me nearly $500.......nearly the price of a complete low-end computer.....
