Ordered a camera from Dell. Was in my order status all day and I just checked it and it's gone!?

Has anyone had an order just disappear from their Order Status under their account a day after placing the order? Last time I had checked it, it was InProduction

It's Dell, anything could happen and it wouldn't surprise me. Give it a couple days and see what happens.

Yep, Dell's online order status system is a joke.

It will say your item will ship on April 12th to be received by April 18th, FedEx will probably drop it off the next day (April 8th).

just ordered canon a80. don't bother to check, i got the confirmation

a few years back I ordered a lite-on dvd drive and i got the conf. email and everything and 3 days later I checked my status online and there was no such order placed. Had to call and forward my conf. email and they didn't even compensate for anything after asking them to.

well, checked again and my order is back in my order status. who knows what happened. One bad thing is it says the camera is now on backorder (got in on the Canon s410 deal). So much for hoping to get it this weekend.
