I bought something a few weeks ago that was quite expensive. Apparently there was a delay because I paid by personal check, but they confirmed they received it a week ago, and said it would ship today.

When I logon to their order tracking site, the status is "Order Pulled". What does that mean?

"Order Pullers" are the people who fetch the items from their staging areas in the distribution warehouse, so I would imagine that it is now in the shipping staging area.

When someone pulls an order it means they pulled the order from where ever it was stored and probably put it somewhere for outgoing orders.

Not exactly. The order is not physically represented until after pulling is complete. The physical goods that comprise it are possibly stored all over the DC/warehouse requiring multiple pulls. They must pulled/picked to be assembled to match the electronic order. Order puller = order picker = order filler. Until it's picked, it's just a logical order.

More accurate: They pull the individual items to make up the order.
