Yes, it's a fun game. It's a mix of third-person shooter and tower defense-like gameplay. Definitely worth $5.

Pretty sure quite a few people here do (we're all addicts to Steam sales :(), and I found the game to be fun. I haven't played it much since I did the Steam Christmas achievement, but I did enjoy using the crossbow and trying to get head shots. It reminded me a lot of my old Quake III Arena days with the railgun.

I enjoyed it a ton. I found the gameplay to be very good and I liked the dialog quite a bit as well.

I haven't played it in a few weeks, but it is indeed pretty damn fun.

I bought this game but haven't installed it yet (playing SSD shuffle) how does it compare to Dungeon Defenders? I loved that game for a while but I stopped playing it a few months ago and haven't missed it one bit.

I bought it today too. That it had DLC was holding me back, but it seems all that will be out is out so I went for it.

Well worth $5 IMO, I got more hours out of that than lots of way more expensive games just from having beers while trying to build weird rube goldberg trap setups.

I thought the DLC was worth it too, at least the Alchemist's Pack thing. It's super useful on just about every map I tried.

I'll usually toss the grenade-like objects into the path before they come and then switch back to the ranged weapon. It seems to work well.

Yeah. One thing I didn't figure out for the longest time, was that you can trigger the grenade/acid bomb with spacebar, or whatever the alternate attack thing is. I used to think the only way to explode it was to shoot it with the crossbow. It made the acid bomb MUCH more useful when I realized I could trigger it exactly when I wanted to, instead of relying on line of sight with the crossbow.
