Orchestra or Spanish 3? Advice please :(

I just got back from registration (im a junior) and I have a scheldule conflict (^%$&*$%$&) 🙁 None of my classes are available for 1st period so now I have to decide between Advanced Orchestra or Spanish 3. 🙁 I really need help deciding. Which should I take? I think Orchestra looks really good for college, but if I dont take Spanish this year, I might forget everything senior year. :\

meh spanish will stick with you.... i'd go for orchestra. btw what instrument do you play? I'm a little biased because i've played classical trumpet for 12 years....

I could also forfeit Tennis, but I love tennis... That's like the best part of my day...

I play the Violin.

Spanish 3, then take Spanish 4.

I should have done that instead of taking only two years of Spanish and some fun classes.. then I wouldn't have to be taking a foreign language in college.

I dont really care about the usefulness of it though...I doubt I'll ever use it besides some basic phrases.. I'm more concerned about it on the transcript for college..

I didn't think I would care about Spanish either, but now I'm 26 living in NorCal and with I knew it. I'm thinking about getting some sort of teach yourself Spanish books. I think it would be great to know a second language. But take whatever you will have fun with.

UC's like 3-4 years of Spanish so if you're not planning to go on playing Orchestra (I really hate to say this) don't play. I did orchestra for a couple years (Viola) and I loved every minute of it. But then again, I never had conflicts like that. Choose your path wisely grasshopper.

Yeah. I wasnt going to take Span for 2 more years, but then my teacher told me trying to get into a UC with 2 years of span is like applying with all Cs. Then I was like :Q...

toma el español 3...nunca irás a repentirlo...confíame porque será el idioma oficial de los Estados Unidos dentro de 15 años

:Q Hm...Maybe she was scaring us or something...

What was your GPA and SAT score? And during what years did you take span?

I'm aiming for UCSD (wont get into most likely), UCD, and UCI.
