Orcad Capture/Pspice Question

I've been using Orcad Capture and Pspice for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it. The only problem is that I have the student edition which is limited in features and parts. If I wanted to add my own model of BJT, how do I do that using Capture? Also, how accurate is the Pspice measurement of THD distortion? I know the biasing calculations are pretty damn accurate, but what about THD?

I prefer to use the scripting method of using spice. search google for .MODEL semiconductor mfgr's almost always have spice models for their parts you can use.

I havent done much with THD measurements, but I know a lot of people who use them for relative differences. Not so much absolute figures. Spice would give you best case THD figures unless you adjust your circuit to represent a real world scenario, which can be as involved as you want to make it.

I wish spice would let you tune values in real time.

i think linear tech recently released a spice like program that does not contain part limits called switcher cad.
