2 hours 10 mins to go!
good grief.
if this fails on me i'm gonna kick my pc all the way over to seattle!!!!!

I'll be in Seattle for a couple days come a month and a half from now. If your next WU fails we might be there at the same time. 😉

I have crunched 10 of these beauties and gotten credit for 6 of them. Waiting for 4 wingmen to finish.

With another quad up and running, I will be able to crunch 12 during the next go-around.

Hang in there, TAandy, you will get done!

Congratulations on a completed WU Andy. 🙂 Most of mine are looking to finish at around 610 hours each!

4 and a half hours to go on another one.
think the final one still has about 120 to go!

I have one more working: 11:30 hr @ 11% completed. It was aborted by one of the French at over 640K secs! Never give up!

Another one just finished. 300 and a few odd hours on the C2D 6320.

The P4 is still trucking along at 567 hours done at 70.57%. :Q I just hope this one finishes before hell freezes over or the rock it's looking for hits us. 😛

Finally finished "LINEAR.CSS.10y.S01_370190_22928_2008.06.20_02.13.25_1" on a P4 Xeon 2.8 -- only took 741h 55m 55s!!

For those curious and not having a calculator nearby, that's just under 31 days of CPU time.. for a single work unit!

Since I don't happen to own any C2D or higher rigs yet, I think that's enough of this project for me.

Way to hang in there!

I have finished 11 WUs and gotten credit for 8. And, I just got another one to crunch!

Well, I've decided to fire up the Einstein@Home clients, and with a video card coming from Gravity I'll be doing the Folding@Home project on at least one rig. 🙂

Edit: The thing that would really help the Orbit@Home project would be to implement the "trickle" method so that an error at say 92% doesn't kill the whole work unit and end up with you losing literally hundreds of hours of CPU time, as I have had 2 units fail with over 300 hours each. 🙁

A sorry P4 2.8 Dell machine.

This one here. Linky

It's only got 512 of ram. Have been thinking about putting more in it since ram is dirt cheap now. But I also think I'd be better off just to replace it. Or retire it. All it does is crunch and host my MP3s that never get listened too. 😛

Currently BOINC says 901 hrs , 99.499% done. 4:30 to go. This might just finish before hell freezes over. 😛

I just finished a CSS.10y WU @ 45:00:00 for pending 900+ credits and have 3 others pending for 3700+ credits. I have gotten credit for 8.

Crunch on!

It's done. Finally.

3,302,359.00 seonds
917 hours 19 minutes 19 seconds.
Just a bit over 38.2 days of grinding 24/7.
Claiming 6,763.85 credits.

Unless trickles are done, me things that the P4 machine has seen the last of Orbit. 🙁
