OrangeKid's Server down?

Noticing that my SETI Driver icon has been green in the task bar for awhile (which is extremely unusual to me on a cable constant connection), I decided to check on things. I clicked on the Stop Transmit button and then clicked Transmit to see if it was just stuck for some reason. The DOS window came up (CLI client) and gives me the following message:

Using proxy server ORANGEKID.TEAMANANDTECH.COM:5001
Sending result - connecting to server.
connect: No such file or directory
Can't connect to server; will retry in an hour.

Is this an isolated problem, or is anyone else having the same troubles? Thanks...

I can't connect to it either. OK, you out there?
I have enough cached for three days, then I could go straight to Berkely. 😉

Im having the same problem at the moment.. 🙁

But since im running my own queue, i can wait😛

If you really need WUs just turn off the proxy server part of SETI Driver and it'll connect straight to Berkeley.

Yep...my Queue is just sitting with WU's ready to go...I flushed them to Berkeley once..but now it has completed one's again....

Hey OK....open up the drain! 😀

Yep...probably what happened! 🙁

Alrighty then. I have a couple days worth stored up in my cache. I hope it doesn't last for more than a couple days though at the rate that this set-up's been spitting them out at.

I'm having the same trouble connecting. But, I have about 3 days worth of work units cached locally, so there are no worries. OK usually resolves these things within a day.

So how does it for those of us with service installs, does it queue it up too? Or it'll idle until OK's proxy comes back up? Will I have to watch out for the service hanging?

Thanks!

TA rules! 😀

I'm pretty sure that the SERVICE install of SETI (SETIDriver) queue's up a few WU's...the number, I'm not sure of though. If the SETIDriver runs out of WU's...it just sits there and waits until it can get more......but that's bad...bad...bad! 🙁

We need more WU's...not less! :Q

With the SETI Driver service install you should be able to change the proxy in the SETIDriver.cfg file. For a CLI service install, the proxy server should be in the registry key.
