Why couldn't this be the case 6 months ago as we were approaching the election?
We tried to tell em.. but they didn't want the alternate and to them this was heaven.
Over the last decade, Americans have been conditioned to believe that Trump says and does lots of crazy stuff that ultimately has no effect on their everyday lives.
That dynamic is now gone.
There is a lot of undeserved congeniality amongst senators.I was just reading about Sen. van Hollen telling Rubio he was sorry he voted for him, then the article went on to say that 99 did. That surprised me! Why? They thought he would stay a conventional old school non-MAGA Republican and be a touch of sanity? WRONG!
Not really.. they'll forget it as soon as they watch their next Fox news bit!
He's their Flash Gordon.. savior of the universe.. he's one of them.. etc etc.
You just know the explanation will be it's anybody but Trump's fault.Do you think Fox will be able to convince independents that wallet raping is a good thing?

Yeppers the administration approach to break the law - just declare everything an emergency. It’s pay to play at the Department of Interior!
Burgum has rolled out an alternative permitting process for projects addressing our “energy emergency”. Under the new program, environmental impact statements will be completed in 28 days or less. Which projects qualify (not you solar or wind) is not based on any objective criteria but on the whim of a Trump appointee. The transparency of the corruption is a feature.

Sen. Ted Cruz’s No Tax on Tips Act Does Little for Low- and Moderate-Wage Workers But Opens Door to Tax Abuse by Wealthy
This legislation may sound like pro-worker tax reform, but it’s just more of the 2017 tax law’s empty promises for workers and giveaways for the wealthy.www.americanprogress.org
Yep.. just look at the markets.. they're ignoring the tariffs and setting all time highs.
Ignorance is Bliss!
They already have!
Look at who's in the White House!
Ah, now I see why markets tanked at 1PM.

Errr lol.Reminds me of the "experiment" in Kansas where they made business owners exempt from state income tax. it was all supposed to trickle down and drive an explosion in investment in new businesses. All that happened was a bunch of people created "new businesses" that only employed themselves and the state budget was wrecked.
University of Kansas men's basketball coach Bill Self, who remains one of the highest paid state employees in Kansas, infamously benefitted from the Brownback tax cuts, which resulted in Self paying little-to-no income taxes through Brownback's elimination of taxes on LLCs and "pass-through" businesses.
Once again moronic trump demonstrates his dependency on conspiracy theories:

Trump ambushes South African president with video and false claims of anti-white racism
Cyril Ramaphosa responds to hectoring stunt in Oval Office and egregious claim of white genocide by suggesting calmwww.theguardian.com
(they ambushed south african president with a tv presentation demonstrating mass genocide on white's; remind you of zelensky @ whitehouse?)
Yeah, they suddenly produced a bunch of newspaper stories about violent crimes in SA with white victims.
Real pity he wasn't in a position to respond with a collection of stories of police (and random white people's) abuse and murder of black people in the US (I believe there's a thread on here he could have used).
