The problem is that most of Trump supporters can't do math so they believe his figures. In fact with all the bullshit he has done with the destruction of doj, fda, cdc, doj, ..., and grafting through the roof the one thing that is making them turn on him is the price of gas (and assocaited goods). If he had avoided the war in Iran he very well might still be popular though less popular then when he was elected. So i guess we can thank Israel for that one tidbit.

He actually thinks that those kind of choices will slip by the average American voter.

This kind of stuff needs to be announced in MSM. Over and over.
 
What msm? The one owned by billionaire oligarchs? Unfortunately they will try to fake some results, as long as there are credible numbers. Orban didn't do it because it was too great of a number to make it happen, but if it's 52-48? You bet they're gonna turn the results in their favor

The vote tally is tabulated from each precinct. There are tens of thousands of them; many precincts within just towns in many cases. And typically each state has their own election data page which updates as precinct data comes in.

The media just reports on the data coming in from those precincts. All of them. From Fox, to CNN, to ABC, to NBC. Let alone the NYT, WaPo, Politico, etc.

Also MS NOW isn't some conservative bastion. It's non-stop Trump bashing. Deservedly so.

So long-story short, the "mainstream media" won't be able to "turn the results" in someones favor. So many eyes are on them, they'd be called out immediate if the results didn't line up across the board.

But it will slip by the average american voter. The only ones that will ever know about it are those that are extremely online.
