Orange County Animal Shelter offering free adoptions

Apparently they are overcrowded…

The Orange-based shelter has been nearly 95 percent full for several weeks, housing as many as 630 animals, “which is about 200 more than even the busiest times of the year,” according to county staff.

I always thought that if I win Mega Millions or Powerball or hell! enough from the state lotto I would build a massive no kill shelter and a homeless shelter. I would house at the no kill shelter everything from horses in times of wildfire to bunnies. But it's been apparent to me that people with big ambitions such as myself never get lucky at such things. Only the undeserving are rewarded. I guess perhaps they need more help. But I can dream can't I?

Sounds to me like they are shipping illegals to steal all the cuddling jobs.

Definitely anyone who can adopt, adopt. I have multiple dog rescue groups on my FB feed from earlier this year when I was looking to adopt a dog. So many sad stories that will break your heart. I found a great dog, you can too.
