Oral or intercourse: which is more intimate?

I've had this argument with many ppl. And it's been on my mind lately. My 'friend' seems to think oral is more personal, while his GF (virgin but gave alot of BJs) says intercourse is. I guess what I'm really asking is this: Would you prefer your gf/bf to have had only a few lovers or no lovers but had lots of oral?

I know it shouldn't matter what ppls past is, but...

Oral is fun, but there is no comparison to intercourse. There's a reason it's called making love.
