Optorite DD0203 Firmware v2.3 - What does it resolve/fix? Should I update?

Just found out that Optorite has just released a new firmware (v2.30). What I don't like about their updates is that it does not include any documentation on what the new firmware addresses.

Does anyone here know? Should I update?

I heard it fixed the CD-R reading problem.
