optoma h30 woes....

So i have a question. Yesterday i was playing some co-op Gears of War when all of a sudden the image goes green. Now every device I hook up the projector with displays green.....what causes this.....is the Bulb bad?

Is it only green and black? If so, then maybe the color wheel is broken?

Or is it a green tint and it's just more green than usual, but other colors are showing up too?

i think it is the color wheel.

usually when nothing is playing I had a black background with grey colored menu option

now the background is a dark green and the menu is green as well

Yeah, I would imagine the color wheel stopped with green in front of the light path then?

i went ahead and opened up the projector. really have no idea what i am doing, but Yes i did notice the green was in the light path.....

now is it possible to cheaply fix the color wheel?

Probably not, but you can try to contact Optoma... although opening it is probably frowned upon 😛
