What's a good router that would let me double--or close to it--the upload speed or client capacity of my site? The max u/l my isp offers is 320. I'd like to have 640Kbps or more. With 2 separate phone lines and dsl modems, there would be 2 different ip's, so how would this work?

You do realize:
*It will be 320 max per client ?
*The router will cost ~$180 ?

Yeah, I'm not looking for cheap. Quality and speed is the most important in this case.

There's gotta be a way to add the 2 together! Are you saying 320 is the max ul I'm going to get at a time?

Where can I learn more about dsl connection bonding? I'm in the dark here.

To be honest, it would probably be cheaper to host the site somewhere at a colo. The hardware is a bit pricey, and the extra DSL line+phone line is going to add up really quickly. I'd look around at some inexpensive hosting (check hot deals) and decide if it would work for you you.

If this is an option, go for it.

Here's the thing. We're trying to set up 9 or 10 webcams that refresh every minute. Would 320 upload be able to handle 10 jpg's--around 200KB each--to a host? It'd be cool if the user could refresh the pic manually as well.

Just do the math.. 10 jpegs @ 200K each = ~2 MB = ~10Mb. Divide that by 60 seconds, and you get about 160Kb/s. No problem on one DSL with a 320Kb/s upload.

Yeah, that should work. Although I don't see how you got 2 MB= 10Mb. 10Mb +/- 60%? You were just quizzing me right?

I'll see what the billpayers think about getting it hosted.
