Looking for an MP3 player to have when I take my dogs out on walks. Don't want to take my phone. Don't really care about being able to play any video just audio. I want to be able to just drag and drop files. If you have any other suggestions please let me know.

There's this Sony Walkman 16GB NWZ-S545 on sale at Fry's for $90.

On in-ear headphones ~$50 as I know the ones that will come with almost any player will be crappy. I have no idea on headphones.

Try a Sansa Clip+. Great sound quality and nearly disposable.

Awesome ordered one on Amazon. Thanks for that. Even though it only came in 8GB it has an SD slot and I have spare 8GB micro SD cards and it has a radio and voice recording.

Any decent ~$50 headphones?

They're no Seinhauser (sp) earbuds, but I just wanted some in-ear phones that sounded good enough and I picked some of these up at my local Fred Meyer store for $29.

Most comfortable earphones I've ever owned and the fact that they are the earhook design means they really don't move when I'm working out. The cord seems a little skinny, especially near the plug, but they do sound really good, especially compared to anything that comes with ANY mp3 player.

I like the Sony earbuds myself. Nice oomph on the bottom end, and wonderfully comfortable. I can wear them for hours and hours.

How are these? There are on sale at Amazon today.

Not worth it even at the sale price IMO. Very poor bass response and apparently has some durability problems. For a solid sounding but not bank breaking pair, I'd look at the Sennheiser CX-300 or CX-300 II. Buy them direct from amazon or something, as if you go the ebay route you'll almost guarantee you're getting a rebranded fake.

I've been reading reviews and even some of the certified Amazon sellers are selling fakes as well. I'm getting the CX-300 II. I'm going to buy the ones directly from Amazon even though they're $60 but I'm guaranteed to get a real set. No wonder some of the certified sellers are selling them as low as $30. Thanks

If you don't want to wait, they also retail at best buy for the same price.
