Let republicans pass whatever they want. Also as an individual choice offer the option for individuals to buy into Medicare. It would be completely the choice of each person. Offer subsidies for poorer people. If the private sector is better people will go there. If Medicare is better people will go there.

Democrats get their public option. Republicans get their private sector solution.
