have been trying to unlock an optimus 2x (p990) for a while and cant seem to find an unlock code or generator to unlock it. any suggestions?
 
OP, I assume you're talking about the LG phone... are you running Gingerbread still? I know this particular model has been all but abandoned by the parent company and carriers...

ICS was release for the P990 by LG and not the P999. The op therefore has no reason to be on Gingerbread unless he want to be.

OP go buy an unlock code for the phone if you want one because I know as a fact they are available all over ebay and the net.
