Optimum or DSL???

I've heard good stuff about both, but i've heard bad stuff about both also.

can someone help me because i'm confused about which service i should subscribe to.
they're both relatively similarly priced, i just need to know which one is more
reliable, safer, and quicker.

Optimum Online, hands down

Optimum's DL speed blows any DSL out of the water and there UL is also generous. I havent experienced may outages...maybe 3 in almost the year I've had the service and they all lasted not longer than a few hours or overnight in one case.

The bad:
The email and news servers are somewhat unreliable from what I hear so plan for outages. Also OOL does not like people utilizing fully te upload. If you want to upload/email small files every now and then its one thing but if you want to run a server or sit there with kazaa open for days letting people download off of you, then they will do something about you.
