Now I just need to find a local place (Seattle) that sells it. I want to get some for this week; shipping is expensive. 😛

Has anyone tried the chocolate flavor of optimum nutrition whey? I like the vanilla ice cream, is the chocolate on about the same level, or is it nasty? Comments?

Yep, it's good. Just DON'T get the strawberry flavor, that tastes like crap. I had some Designer Whey strawberry, and liked it, so decided to go for the cheap stuff.... boy was i wrong.

It's cheap for a reason 🙂 Ever had the GNC brand? The chocolate flavor LITERALLY tastes like mud....I nearly threw up taking one sip of it

I buy Prolab now from my local store... not only is it cheaper than Optimum, but contains better stuff... including 5 grams of glutamine per serving. Tastes better, better quality, and better stuff... yet cheaper than Optimum.

Optimum isn't bad though, i took it for years myself... but Prolab tastes so much better.

I just ordered a 5lb Chocolate Mint from http://www.1fast400.com/ on Saturday and it shipped today, pretty good service. I am generally a fan of chocolate flavored stuff. When I mix protein with 2% milk it gets a little clumpy, would that for some reason affect the digestability of it? When I get it I'll be sure to pipe in how it tastes.

If i'm ordering from 1fast, it's not for protein! You ever try their prohormones stuff? I've bought from him, and he ships it indiscretely to Canada too. Great guy.

Darein - what do you use to mix it with? Get a shaker cup and shake like crazy for a good 5-10 seconds. Never have clumps.

I use a blender myself.

I'm too lazy to use a blender. Easier to wash a cup than a blender, the blades, and a cup 🙂

Yeah, but twice as long isn't so bad when you're talking about seconds... cup, 10 second... blender, 20 seconds.

Chocolate Mint is the only one I've tried, but shacking it very well so it's all dissolved in a cup with 2% milk is actually very good...

The chocolate mint is pretty good. I got myself a shaker cup and it mixes quite well with water now, just shake hard.

I'm on my second tub of Double Rich Chocolate. It had more protein/tub than the regular chocolate for the same price, so I got it. 🙂

Good tasting stuff too, especially with milk.

I have a turbo shaker and my ON chocolate mint mixes nearly 100%. I tried mixing with a normal cup and spoon when I was away over the weekend and that didn't go quite as well. The $3 I spent on my turbo shaker was well worth it.
