Optimum 80-Minute CD-R 100/Pack $4.94 AR Staples

I bought some of the 48x (also had 32x) Optimums from Big Lots and they are pretty good, no issues yet. I just don't see a speed on the Staples web site though... so dunno how that relates.
 
I bought the 48x ones from Staples a few months back. I didnt have any trouble with them. They burned at 52x with no problem
 
If you look closer Tegeril, you will see the outline of a 4 before the 8.
I have these and they burn flawlessly at 48x.
 
I bought a 50 pack of these a while ago. Yes they are 48x, but for some reason my LiteON 24x burns them at 16x max... On the other hand, my Sony 52x burns them at 52x. [shrug]
 
I bought a 50-pack of these a couple months ago when they were free after rebate. They burn at 52x for me in my Lite-On burner. No complaints.
 
Ah, hm, good point. I figured since the 4 was so absurdly large compared to the 8 that it might be referencing something else...good deal then *goes to buy*.
