optimizing my fans

how do i optimize my fans? by that i mean, how do i get the rpm's higher? Example..i have the asus probe that came with my motherboard. It says that my chassis fan is running too slow. How do i fix this? and a chassis fan is the one on teh window, right? i have a P4S533 asus (if that helps any)

I've got the same motherboard. Asus probe expects certain temperatures on certain headers. The CPU and case fans are kind of in the wrong spot so you likely have the CPU fan in the case fan header and visa versa. It probably thinks that a case fan is spinning to fast for a CPU 🙂 try changing them. ASUS probe also recognizes the power fan as the case fan and visa versa. Try changing those two around. It's B.S. Make sure that q-fan isn't enabled. It will bring the speed of your fans down.
Let me know how it goes.
