Optimizing graphics performance in DOSBox 0.74-3

I'm trying to optimize graphics 2D performance DOSBox 0.74-3. I'm using Chris's 3D Benchmark to test 2D graphics performance in DOSBox. I'm getting 170 for an SVGA Bench score. This is on an i7-4930k with a GTX 1080 Ti. In Free Dos, i get 185 in the SVGA Bench. Is a score of 185 in the SVGA Bench around what a Pentium II 350 would be inside a real DOS operating system. Under ideal conditions, shouldn't an i7-4930k with a GTX 1080 Ti score easily over 2000 in Chris's SVGA benchmark even in a DOSBox? Free Dos only resulted in 15 more points than DOS Box in the Chris's 3D Benchmark (SVGA) and Free DOS is not an emulated DOS environment either.

The graphics card and driver you install on Windows are only for WIndows.

DOSBox will not know any modern graphics card you have installed on your system and can't take advantage of it.

Did you increase cycles/emulated CPU? The whole point of dosbox is to simulate an old PC so you don't have to play old games at 1000000000000FPS.
