Optimizing Drive Setup

I should be getting an NEC 3500A and a Samsung 16X DVD rom for XMAS. They are replacing my old toshiba 6x DVD rom and 12x liteon CD burner. What IDE channels should I set them up on:

Current config with a P4P800 E 865PE board:

Primary HD is SATA off ICHR5
6X DVD Rom is Primary on Primary IDE off ICHR5
Liteon 12X is Slave on Primary IDE off ICHR5
Secondary HD is on Secondary IDE off ICHR5

I also have another IDE connector through the PCI bus on an on board Promise controller that is unused.

Should I just replace the two oprical drives with the new ones or is there a better config.
