Optimizing a netbook

So yesterday I picked up an Aspire One 10" from TigerDirect. I already like it a lot, and I'd like to get as much performance out of it as possible.
So far I've:
Put in 2GB Ram
Removed McAfee, Windows Live crap, MS Office Trial, Carbonite/eSobi bloatware.

Any suggestions on other things I can turn on/off to improve boot speed and overall performance?

You have pretty much done all there is to do. Netbooks aren't all that powerful so there isn't too much you can do to improve speed.

Practically the only thing I did was check off unnecessary services. It's fast as blazes (not that it wasn't peppy before). AAO here.

Basically the only thing you can do is a fresh install, disabling unnecessary services, installing your stuff, defragging, etc.
