Optimal Hardware Configuration for AutoCAD

I'm getting two workstations made specifically for AutoCAD and was wondering if anyone here knows an optimal hardware configuration? I have the minimum system requirements.

Tyan K8WE
Dual Opteron 275
16GB DDR400 ECC Registered
Quadro FX4400
LSI Logic LSI00008
8 X Fujitsu 147GB 15K RPM SCSI
Lian Li v1200

Something like that. 🙂

It depends on what you are going to do with AutoCAD and what version of AutoCAD you are going to run. For 2-D work, pretty much any computer made in the last 3 years will be more than enough. Just try to make sure you have more than 512 meg of memory. You will also want a good high resolution monitor and a video card that doesn't look like crap at high resolutions.
