Optimal but economical business pc

Need to know what hardware components make up the most optimal business pc. However please take price into consideration

Define 'optimal' and 'business PC'. Do you mean an email/word processing machine, something to do web design, a 3D graphics workstation, a server (and then we'd have to get into what *kind* of server), or something else?

Are you looking for 'the cheapest thing that will work', 'best bang/buck', or 'cheapest with super-high performance', or something else?

In short, your question is *incredibly* vague.

I believe the cheapest new PC you could find would be sufficient for email, web browsing, and word processing, if that's all you need it to do. My P2 266 with 128mb RAM handles all that with no problems.
