What kind of mouse pad is the best for opticals? Ones that are smooth and don't cause the mouse to spazz out. Mine has a lot of gouges so I'm thinking of gettign a new one. Games are unplayable on it.

I use mine on the arm of my reclining chair. =/
I've used it on the side of my chair too, I sometimes get lazy and just let it fall to my side.

I've had it work on the floor aswell, I use it everywhere except my dresser.

I use my desk. woodgrain works fine and I'm not constricted in movement to a pad's area. :p

LOL my desk isn't made out of woodgrain unfortunately. My desk has a lot of friction.
