which one? I like the looks of the steelpad, and it's for someone not like me... he's rolling in the dough and might even get the $20 cord holder! :Q

does logitech makes microsoft optical mice or do they make their own?

 
They both make their own but I believe the actual optical sensors for everyone are made by HP (they own the patent or something)
 
can you use the teflon tape from home depot on the mouse's feet or do I need to buy something in particular- to cut the noise and reduce wear?

 
I dun know I like the good old fashioned rubber/cloth mouse pads the best I guess that's becuz they slide the quietest on them. Although I've never tried some of those higher priced padz, I will sometime I'm interested to know what they're like, I'd have to see for myself somewhere of course though 🙂
