optical mouse jumping all over my screen

no brand new just came out of the package - thanks thou - hmm this is weird hope my ordered mouse pad will alleviate this

try it on a variety of mouse surfaces, the current surface you are using might not work well with the mouse.

if that doesn't work, maybe you should just rma that and get another one 🙂

i haven't been using a mouse pad - explorer used to work - so i tried just about everything - books - binders - paper lol

just ordered a func mouse pad - so if that doesn't work RMA time

white paper didn't work either? that should give the best readings for the optical eye. my blue LED mouse doesnt work on black surfaces, but works fine on white surfaces. i think you probably just got a defective one.

I had an Intellimouse Explorer getting funkjy on me. I unistalled, then reinstalled teh drivers, calibrated, and it worked fine. Did ya calibrate that bad boy? Not sure if it needs it but many optical mice doi, and it can clean things up.

hmm no drivers - i think it uses existing drivers or what ever is on the comp - so i may need to clean it up my drivers or something i wonder if my ordered mouse pad will soon help
