Optical Drives Problem

Strange problem. Most of the life of my pc, everything has been fine. I turn on my comp, and when i boot into windows, none of my drives will eject. The light blinks as normal when booting up my pc, but no matter how many times i press eject, none of them will eject. One drive is a generic dvd rom drive, the second is a sony dru-810a.

Ig ot the sony to eject ONCE, and it ejected at a faster speed than it normally does. Read everything fine though, but then it was back to the same problem.

This is bothering me greatly. Any advice?

My guess is something isn't connected right. Can you see the drives in "my computer?" Recheck the master/slave jumpers.
