Used to have a few older model Sony/NEC OptiArcs with silver faceplates around.
Looking for something to match a Silverstone Temjin TJ09S.

Anyone have any pointers? Would prefer to cheap out on a DVDR/W, but could go with a BDR/W instead.

    Thanks!

Paint? Cutting one of the 5.25 inch bay covers and glue it to the front of the drive?

I remember Directron used to sell silver faceplate drives. Might want to check there.

Edit: Here you go: http://directron.com/silverstorage.html Not exactly what you wanted, but not a bad solution

If the replacement bezel doesn't work out you could try and track down some silver vinyl dye.

Thanks for all the inputs fellas! Wish OptiArc didn't up and switch their faceplate designs around the AD-7260/61S. I was using an ancient silver faceplate (from an NEC 3450 IIRC) on an AD-7240S :|
