I just got my Chieftec case from NewEgg (sucks - I ordered it the same day they ran the $49 one day only sale but before they changed the price - and even called up talked to someone there when I got home that night (right before they were closing) who said he would credit me the difference from what I paid - $59. Didn't happen so I called the next day and god some rude woman who basically claimed I was a liar because I didn't have the guy's name and "said" she'd look into it and call me back - never did. Anyway, I like Newegg - I just go screwed out of $10 this time, which is nothing money-wise, but it sucked to get lied to then called a liar.) - a nice blue one.

Wondering if there is a source for optical drives (DVD, CDRW) that are the same color as the case? Not going to bother with a floppy. And yes, I know it is covered by the front panel 99% of the time - but *I* would know it didn't match.

Kinda stange for Newegg.com I purchased a refurbished Epox 8KHA+ motherboard and a couple days later I saw it on for less. I emailed newegg and they did credit me the difference. No problems or hassle.

U may want to try www.harddrive.com. I thought that I saw in a magazine that they would match the bezel color to case color. Don't know if it is for new drives or if you can send in your bezels.

The cheapest way to go (fastest also!) Would be to paint your bezels using vinyl dye. This is available at most large auto parts stores, also at places like Wal-Mart. It's $5-6 a can, dries in like 30 minutes, and drips or runs will actually soak into the plastic over a day or so! It also doesn't rub off with use!

There's not a huge array of colors, though..you never said what color the case was. This stuff is made for auto interiors, so those are the types of colors available. (But you can get silver...)

I just paint my own bezels. I think that the way to go. Just some spray paint with clear glaze (many many coats) and it works fine no rubbing off.
