Optical Drive Issue/Random Restarts

Hi there,
I've been having a consistent problem over the last year or so with both of my PC's optical drives. One, the primary, is a 16x DVD-ROM. The other is an 16x DVD/CDRW burner combo. When I first put my PC together, I never really noticed the problem. Once in a great while when burning a CD or DVD, the system would automatically reboot once the disc was finished burning and the program popped it out of the drive. That was about a year ago. Now, about 1 out of 3 times that I open either drive to put a disc in or take one out (mainly the primary), the system will reboot once the tray gets to the out position. I find it extremely difficult to install things with multiple discs anymore and its incredibly frustrating. If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Raul G.

running a 550W PSU doesn't sound lack of power is an issue, could be dying though, *shrugs*. The absolute only time it reboots like that is when the trays are open?? I'd suggest testing a new DVD drive to be honest, see if when they are open it reboots. If changing the drive does the same thing, try a different PSU perhaps.
