Optiarc DVD RW AD-7203S *PLEASE HELP*

Hi, I am currently going to try and burn DL games for myself, however, I noticed that my DVD drive does not have the DL lettering on it. Nevertheless, when I check the specs online I noticed that it is supposed to support DL burning. Can anyone confirm that my DVD burner is actually DL. I am merely asking because Memorex DL DVD's did not work. Thanks in advance.

If the disks didn't work then the drive doesn't support DL.

Why would the Sony spec site indicate that it does?
