I have searched here and other places to get a handle on what to do with fixing the affinity thing in the taskmaster soas you can play games in the multiplayer mode. It appears that there is a fix both from AMD as well as MS to elliviate the problem. I was getting excessive movent and had trouble with my connection if I did make an adjustment in the affinity. Since talking to a fellow At'er (thanks Dude!!), he gave me the directions to get the fix from AMD and MS. I have since put in the drivers from AMD and it seems to be running pretty slick. Have not done the MS hotfix. Is this par for the course? Can some duallies get by with just the fix from AMD? Do I need to go ahead and add the patch from MS even though it appears to be doing fine. Have played about 4 hrs and really not a glich. Wonder why it would work on some machines where you need both fixes and while others you can get by with just the AMD fix. Before we did anything, my son would play CS with the infinity running normal and it was smooth as silk. When I would go to Halo it wasn't long and I would be all over the place until i checkecd infinity.
