Opteron 939 ECC or no?

Looking at purchasing an Opteron 939 (144, 146, or 165) and am having trouble finding out whether or not any (or all) of these CPUs require ECC ram or not. I have just purchased the 2x1GB EL OCZ set from the Egg, and will be keeping it. Just want to make sure that my RAM will be compatible for the mobo/cpu upgrade. Any info is appreciated.

For the 939 version of the Opterons, (1xx series) no, ECC RAM is not required.

Simple question, simple answer have u seen any socket 939 boards that support ECC memory!

Honestly, since I don't own ECC memory, I havent exactly been looking for mobo's that support it. Just knew that some Opterons required it. But............thanks.
