Opteron 170 and AMD X2 Patch

Can someone please tell me which patch I need to get if I purchased a Opteron 170. I can't find info on which AMD patch to use the X2 dual core patch or the Opteron dual core patch?

I downloaded both but havent installed them they are the exact same size so I'm wondering if they are the same exact thing or not. I'd just like to be safe. Any info would be appreciated.

Well, this may sound a little stupid, but don't you own an Opteron, not an X2?

I have heard many people on this board say they are using the X2 driver(and when i look below to see there system it says Opteron) so I just wanted to clarify. Because from what ive read it seems they arent using the Opteron driver.

You can use either. It doesn't matter, they both do the same thing. (add a /usepmtimer switch to your boot.ini)

hmm..I am guessing they are the same driver..both may 2005 and both 1.2.2.2
