Opteron 165 week 0551: RESULTS PLEASE

Read the title:

I'd like some feedback on what everyone is able to OC the opteron 0551VPMW & 0551UPMW to.

I myself have a 0551VPMW and have difficulties getting above 2.3ghz... just want to find out if this is typical.

when did you buy this cpu and from where? i was looking into buying a 165 myself but if it only reaches 2.3 i just might go another direction

I'm getting 2.76 SuperPI stable and 2.65 Prime stable same stepping 0551VPMW opty 165

2.5@1.45v on a 0551VPMW here. Not too great, but good enough for me

My brother is dual Prime stable at 2.6GHz@1.45V with an 0551 VPMW.

OP here. I guess I'm a noob at overclocking. I lowered my memory timings and I was able to get 2.45Ghz with stock voltage. I'm sure if I upped the voltage I could get 2.5 Ghz or more. Too bad my A8N-SLI can't do 300FSB. It tops out at about 280. This is an 0551VPMW.

This is much better than I was expecting out of a 1.8Ghz stock chip. I am happy.

The 0551s seem to really like voltage - I'm running mine 2.6GHz @ 1.48V. I couldn't get about 2.2 without going over 1.45V...

Mine is a 0551.
