Opteron 165 or 170?

I'm hoping to purchase one of these cpu's for my pc upgrade. I'm wondering if there is any strong reason to spend the extra money for the 170. Is there any difference in overclockability? Thanks, Rob
 
I was in the same dilemma...and i decided to go with 170 because of the higher multi x10 and beacuse my ram is value....also the difference i paid was 35$....so it was a easy decision...

Possibly what are the specs of the rest of your rig, what you must realise is that you are going to be OCing on the x9 multi, which is going to stress the HTT, if you desire 2.5Ghz plus, so a good motherboard PSU and HSF is really paramount, not to mention a good stepping 😉
